Saint-Georges church

Eglise de Saint-Jurs

Parish Church dedicated to St. George, posting a Romanesque and Gothic (late Romanesque part XII, Part XIV Gothic steeple nineteenth century).

During its restoration in 1640, it would be found in the thickness of its walls, a box containing the relics of saints and martyrs Restitut Nicaise, with a prayer in their honor. Perhaps for fear of being off this treasure, the relics were replaced in the walls, leaving no indication of the place.

Lovers of beautiful views may, if they go up to the church overlooking the village, sweeping view across the board valensole and enjoy a breathtaking panorama.
